Sardine Feeding Frenzy: Whale, Shark, Dolphin and Sea Lions – The Hunt – BBC Earth

First Fixed Wing Aircraft Recovered Aboard USS Gerald R. Ford

ATLANTIC OCEAN (July 28, 2017) An F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 23 piloted by Lt. Cmdr. Jamie Struck, performs an arrested landing aboard USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78). The aircraft carrier is underway conducting test and evaluation operations. Less than one week after Pres. Donald J. Trump commissioned the U.S. Navy’s newest aircraft carrier, Gerald R. Ford launched and recovered its first fixed-wing aircraft off the coast of Virginia. The first arrested landing, or “trap”, occurred at 3:10 PM (EST) and the first catapult launch happened at 4:37 PM (EST).

The Sperm Counts of Western Men Have Declined Dramatically, Alarming Experts
“In 1992, scientists from Denmark published a study claiming that there had been a decline in the quality of men’s semen over the preceding 50 years. Though worries have persisted since then, it has been hard to back up this claim. Now a comprehensive new study has emerged that appears to support the research from decades ago.”

Skin Cells Turned Into Sperm
“Scientists in Spain have created human sperm from skin cells, a medical feat which could eventually lead to a treatment for infertility. The researchers said they were working to find a solution for the roughly 15 percent of couples worldwide who are unable to have children and whose only option is to use donated sperm or eggs.”
